In preparation for long hours of reading and late night studying, Mrs. OldDawg suggested converting the extra bedroom into a “Man Study Cave.” It’s not exactly what I had always envisioned as my ultimate man cave… but it’s definitely a great idea. Of course, we’ve come to expect great ideas from Mrs. OldDawg.
Work is commencing now.
- New recliner (hey, you gotta be comfy when doin’ all that reading!) – check
- New desk (Huuuuuuuge!) – will be delivered next week
- Bookshelf – check
- End tables – check
- Artwork for the walls (pics of the dream ranch = motivation) – on order
- Desk chair – still needed (a trip to Frys!)
- Lamps – stil needed
In related preparation… I got my new laptop dedicated solely to law school work and installed all the software. She’s ready to go.
3.5 months to go before school starts. Sometimes it seems like it’s so far away – and other days it seems just around the corner. I wonder if that’s another sign of being old?
